From a very early age, Berit was surrounded by aesthetics, craftsmanship, and art through the influence of her artistic family. This environment opened up a space for her own artistic exploration. She was born and raised in and around Vienna, where she began her creative career working as a graphic designer and illustrator. This background remains visible in her ceramic work to this day. Her dedication to materials, colors, forms, and contrasts is reflected in her pieces.
 

After gaining extensive experience, knowledge, attention to detail, and intuition, Berit opened her first ceramics studio, studio ok, in 2018. Here, together with her team, she offers classes in various ceramic techniques.
In 2023, she launched her third studio, CLAYGROUND—an open ceramics studio designed to provide more space and time for independent work with clay.
 

Inspired by nature, art, and painting, the Viennese artist creates aesthetically refined, technically and artistically sophisticated works under the name STUDIO OKKAR.
